I write therefore I am. Six-Word Memoir? Teetered on the precipice then jumped.
My writing—poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction—shapes idea and image into language and form, a journey to my river of truth. My writing has received a James Jones First Novel Fellowship, an Oregon Literary Fellowship, and recognition from the Oregon State Poetry Association. In 2007, my poetry chapbook, The Hours of Us, was published by Finishing Line Press.
